Vancouver-based real estate services company McNeill Lalonde & Associates is rebranding their brokerage, TAC Real Estate Corp., to MLA Realty.

The brokerage’s property services include resale, new developments and land assembly, and the firm is licensed for rental property management. Since its inception in 2009, the boutique brokerage has also managed the sales of many pre-sale developments including Burquitlam Capital and Keefer Block.

“Our new brand aligns our entities under MLA Canada as we continue to innovate how the world imagines, creates, consumes and enjoys real estate,” says Ryan Lalonde, president and partner of the firm.

The brokerage has offices in Vancouver’s Westside and Coquitlam communities with over 40 salespeople servicing Greater Vancouver, Squamish and the Fraser Valley Regional Districts.

“MLA Realty is introducing a new look into real estate that includes our interactive website with local market analytics and a remarkable family of Realtors,” says Peter Talbot, managing broker of MLA Realty, who will continue to oversee the brokerage. “Our priority is to ensure a seamless and enjoyable home experience.”

MAC Marketing Solutions and BLVD Marketing Group, two Vancouver-based real estate project marketing companies, have merged to form Western Canada’s largest real estate marketing organization, McNeill Lalonde & Associates.

“By coming together and adding resources, we are now poised to provide clients with an added suite of services and a more comprehensive offering,” says Ryan Lalonde, founder of BLVD. “We believe that with our deepened group of experienced professionals, progressive new systems, structure, scale, stability and intellectual property, we can far exceed the value of an individual owner-operator company, and provide both better services to our clients and greater opportunities for our employees.”

The company says its goal is to build on the foundations of both brands, and provide analytics, marketing, sales and advisory services to major metropolitan centres across Canada.

“We determined quickly that our business goals aligned. What we spent far more time discussing was our respective company cultures,” says Cameron McNeill, founder of MAC marketing solutions. “I am very proud of the culture we have been able to foster at MAC and my number one sensitivity and concern was anything that may undermine our core values, commitment to our people, being the best place to work in real estate, collaborative attitude and deep desire to do a great job for our clients. This merger would not be taking place if we didn’t feel that we could not just maintain, but in fact enhance our cultural spirit,” McNeill says.

The combined organization includes 110 employees and sales and leasing staff working on more than  80 projects in various stages of development throughout Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley, Victoria, Edmonton and Calgary.
